A VILLAGE WITH A MUSEUM ...
... AND A MUSEUM WITH A VILLAGE at the centre of Angeln is the small village of Unewatt. Here, an original museum concept with five “museum islands” awaits. At the entrance is the Marxenhof, the only part of the exhibit whose origins are not in Unewatt. The smoke house, the hydro-powered butter mill, the “Fortuna” windmill and the Christesen barn have “always” been a part of Unewatt. These buildings are located throughout the village, forming the Unewatt countryside museum. We recommend parking your car in the car park and continuing along the village paths on foot. This will provide you with interesting insights into an earlier way of life in the countryside.
