HELLIGÅNDSKIRKEN (CHURCH OF THE HOLY SPIRIT)
A particularly heavenly experience awaits you at the Church of the Holy Spirit, in the middle of Flensburg’s old town. In 1386, the church was built for the already existing Holy Spirit Hospital. Church services in Danish language have been held here since the mid-16th century. Today, it is the main church of the Danish minority in Southern Schleswig, having been donated to the Danish Church shortly before the turn of the millennium.
