On the Dolmenpfad!
The Dolmenpfad is a 5 km long archaeological and natural history trail that you should definitely explore during your stay in Glücksburg! Immerse yourself in 5000 years of cultural history on the trail of your ancestors and visit the "dolmens" (large stone graves of the Neolithic Age) and Bronze Age burial mounds, 10 of which have been signposted in detail by the association Schönes Glücksburg e.V.! The trail through the glacially formed Glücksburg Forest touches the popular wild boar enclosure, passes an attractive forest playground, circles the mysterious Elfenwiese (elf meadow) and leads along the Vogelwiese (bird Meadow) wetland biotope, which is well worth seeing.
The nearby forest museum also has an extensive collection of Neolithic artefacts from the Glücksburg area that are well worth seeing.
